I have but a minute....been BIZZY . Like today >>> worked, got home, was soooooo freekin' nice out I worked outide , raking up stix, sweeping porch etc. ( just to be outside. Now I have to eat, clean up the house and STUDY for a quiz I'm taking on Thursday on Baroque and Renaissance Art. I got a CAR last week :D Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Whoooooo Hoooooo > FREEDOM ! I took my Granddaughter to The Detroit Institute Of Arts ( Museum ) then we went to Greektown and rode on the People Mover ( monerail ? ) > It was sooooo nice to get the heck outta' town for the day ! It's a 2001 ford Taurus WAGON LOL It's gold. Very Clean ! Nice. Not the Honda C-RV I wanted but , oh well.....I have LOTS of room to haul " stuff" and DOGS ! I'll be going to see my parents here soon. ...... Also there was a "family crisis " regarding my MOM ! I hope everything is gonna be okay with her My bro is there looking out after things , I hope. I know it's gotta' be had on my Dad.......ummmmm, what else, oh, I LOST the keys to the building I work in ! UGH ! not good. hmmmmmmm ,anything else???? Oh, It's nice as , as heck here, record high yesterday, like 79.... my flowers ( spring bulbs I planted in Nov.) are up!! I so geeked , everyday I check their progress, hopefully they have nuff' SUN ! To make nice big BLOSSUMS. The Lilac looks kinda wimpy after the ice storm we had, lost a lot of branches and few buds : -( Gotta' skeedaddle.......TTFN =o) !

To day was my excursion there w/ the art club. It is a very, very nice museum. They have quite the collection.It was the first time I met anybody in the club and they were all pretty kewl . I specially liked a girl named Lizz. I first went to the Ancient Art gallerysince that's what I'm studying in class right now. Then to the Impressionist painter's. I saw Monet's " Water Lillies " :-) Renoir scultpture's , Rodin's " The Thinker ", Paninni's, Peter Paul Rubens. I went on a guided tour of the Glass Pavillion. It was Ancient glassware and the process of it's development. We had lunch ( Well, I did ) at a cafe there. I tried to cover as much as possible. We had almost 4 hrs. I bought a piece of art. A hand blown cup w/ purple ( the middle is lavendar ) and green ( of course : P ) circles that WERE glass beads , I believe, they circle the " cup" in bands, 1st a row of purple I looks like a real fancy candle holder. Kinda hard to describe it.... maybe I can find a pic, maybe the artist has a website ......Anywho I gotta go lol gonna watch the movie " Chocolat " . Huh ! I'm on the phone and my friend say's I saw it already ?? I don't remember it...lol Maybe after it starts my memory will be jogged.......

I watched this year's Oscar winner for best movie, what a ride ! Pretty violent too for an Oscar winner. I have a slight issue w/ that and had to look away a couple of times. Still not numb to seeing people's brain's get blown out etc. and hope I never do.....Anyway Leonardo Di Caprio ( much hotter than unhot Johnny Depp < sowwy Mag ..) was AWESOME in this role ! OMG ! So was Ben Affleck. But u liked Leo and hated Ben in the movie. One of he reasons I liked it is bcuz' I like movies that keep you guessing and things happen you don't :-) expect :-( I wanna watch it again , it's fast paced, fo' shore...lol Had me on the edge of my seat !

Next Saturday I am going to the Toledo Art Museum w/ the ART CLUB from school ! I'm geeked

I wish that we would have a day in which no body died or got killed, no scandals, great weather , no tornadoes or ice storms, no news, nothing bad happened anywhere in the world. Just think....you turn on the National news nothing happened that day so they have to report on all HAPPY and POSITIVE things. I've fantasized about having a news show that just reported on good things and focuses on good citizens something upbeat and postive , showing that there are SO MANY good people in this world. We're all on this earth together, why can't we all just get along.....religion??

Friday ! Yahooooo ! No work for two dazeeeeeeeeeeeee! Party on Wayne ! Party on , Garth ! Also no class today, spring break ! Yeah, right, no Florida beaches for me . I wish. Not Florida thou' ~~~> Hawaii ! Yeah ! I've been held in suspense this week as my teacher, Elisabeth, did not post our last two quiz grades.....I have checked daily, soon I hope ! I wanna' see how crappy i did on 3-D art ! ( which is sculpture, relief sculpture, sculpture in the round, Casting, Kinetic sculpture, environmental and , Mixed media ! ta---da ! Did I get an B? a C?? I think I only missed one ques but it was worth a lot of points....20 I think... but I think I got a 50/50 on my paper on Julia Morgan,hmmmmmm, such confidence ! LOL I came to admire her & her work and throughly researched her. FYI She was a female architect one of the first here in the states. Designed 700 buildings including the Hearst Castle. Goggle her ! She was an amazing architect ! TTFN >>>>
