When I saw YOUR " open for business" sign I had to chuckle to myself cuz' I have previously used this sign on my blog ! LOL Hmmm.... perhaps someone is a copycat , saw it on my blog ...???!!!

I was lookin at some stuff I wrote in my journal.... I wrote this after the devastating day at Virginia Tech... I can't type it vertically as it shoud read cuz' of my browsers limitations. ------~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Killer : After the slaughter~ We hear ~ What we've heard before~Loner~ Warning signs~ Violent thoughts put down on paper, worse yet ,the videos ~ Quiet ~Fear provoking ~Mental problems~ Never..........Outgoing~ Popular ~ Even keeled~ Eagle scout or class Prez.~ How does ones mind snap that bad? ~They say he was maybe a schizo. ~ I say it was pure evilness.

Summers end is nearly upon us. I will say that this summer was better than last. Thanks to my Taurus ! I start class again on MONDAY ! Magda, I am taking 1st Year Spanish ! Ha ! We will be able to converse in Spanish too ! LOL I have wanted to take Spanish for years and am VERY EXCITED to be finallytaking it ! I am also taking a Monuments and Culture class w/ Elisabeth my former Art History teacher. It's going to be REALLY WEIRD having an instructor that I know well ! ~~~~~~~ I changed shifts @ work , it's nice but my routine is all messed up. I have nothing specific to do the last 4 hrs. I will be good thou for STUDYING ! Shhhhhhhhh........My last two weekends were rather bizzy, did a lot w/ Zaynah. This weekend is like the last hurrah b4 class starts and I expect to be working a p/t job on Saturdays. So I am trying to get the house in tip top shape b4 I'm studying all the time . ~~~~ We had bad storms in Michigan yesterday. Tornados too ! The damage in some areas was pretty severe. In A2 we had a WILD electrical storm. Was scary. I have that big tree behind my house and I was scared it was going to get hit. It has been raining for many ? 5 days. The river is high. Last night I could hear the dams sirens going off. Opening up the dam, I wanted to go down there but was too tired. Oh, I also had to drive thru a flood ! down on Depot street it was flooded. I came upon it and froze ! It looked deep, cars were behind me, there was no where to go but thru it ! Whew ! I made it, was a trip thou, kinda' scary ! Well, duty calls...... Adios....

Wed. was my last day of class & my final ! Whooooo hoooooooo ! I got a B on my final and my final grade is an A- . I'm pleased w/ that ! So now I have a 2.5 week break ! I'm liking that! I'm almost am done reading a book for FUN ! It feels great to not have homework or to have to study ! Next semester i am attempting 2 classes..... Zaynah is coming over tonight and tomorrow we are going to Frankenmuth ! I'm excited to get away for a day. Last time I went there it was just for dinner, this time for dinner and exploring. Also my hours at work are going to change. I am going back to the 4am shift. It was either that or 4pm shift w/ a different supervisor and a tought building w/ classrooms. No thank you. U of M students are total pigs. When they leave a classroom it looks as thou. elementary students had a party in it ! I say, If it's not broke don't fix it. I like my supervisor and don't wanna take a chance w/ a new one !

I love some of the stuff Langston Hughes has written and I have a poem by him I copied a long time ago... It's called , " A Dream Deferred " . Since I can't phrase it / wrie it as it is to be seen then I will put a ~ when a new line starts... ya' dig??? .........My browser won't ley me type it right ~~~~~~~ What happens to a dream deferred? ~~ Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun??? ~~ Or fester like a sore ~ And then run ~~ Does it stink like rotten meat??? ~~ Or crust and sugar over ~ Like a syrupy sweet??? ~~ Maybe it just sags like a heavy load~~ Or does it explode ??? ..................... A lot different than " Dreams ". I like it's rhythm. And it's kinda' gross & a tad shocking ?
